It’s spring! I seriously can’t believe it January would never end and now it’s basically April/Easter/Spring.
For my second Impact Day, I chose to clean up a park while on my trip to Texas this month. I was visiting family & my grandmother in Granbury, Texas and picked out a favorite park my sister and I used to frequent as children.
I commonly refer to myself as a misplaced texan. You see I was born, raised and lived in the Lone Star State for 25 years before moving out. Travis and I originally left for the Rocky Mountains in Colorado before ending up in California.

As, I mentioned on March 7th, we took a lot of road trips as a kid. We drove to Florida, Colorado and all over Texas, which totally counts!
Once I arrived at my mom & dad’s house just outside Lindale, Texas I was able to relax. I slept in and was able to even sit down and finally get a little bit of work done and blog a little bit.
I visited Texas this past week, including my sister and her husbands new home, my old stomping grounds in Waco and the all to familiar drive to my grandparents home in Granbury and reliving moments of my early childhood at their home in Midlothian.
I leave for Texas in T-minus 1 day.
