To celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary at the end of June, hubby and I decided to do something special and unique to commemorate our big day. So we decided to go Whale Watching in Monterey Bay, launching from Moss Landing on the Sea Goddess.

The second thing on my parents to do list while in California this trip was to visit Lake Tahoe. Even though I couldn’t make it up on Monday when they headed up, Asher and I made our way up the next day.
My parents came to visit this month and my dad had 2 requests: an Oakland A’s game and Lake Tahoe.

Kendra arrived a few weeks ago and we did a lot. After picking her up, drinking some wine and calling it a night. The next day we started her trip going to Yosemite National Park as we wanted to try to avoid the crowds. (this only partly worked)
So far, we have called Modesto home for a year and a half. We still struggle through the warm, ok HOT summers but the mild winters are a win for everyone.
