Wear it Wednesday | October Fall 10×10 Style Challenge

Earlier this month, I participated in the 1 pair 10 ways style challenge by The Root Collective, in addition to wearing one pair of shoes for 10 days I also combined it with my annual Stylish Fall 10×10 challenge in which I picked out 9 clothing items from my closet + my 1 pair of shoes to wear for 10 days!

And of course fall showed up just as the style challenge began which was good considering I picked pieces for you know, cool fall days!

I chose 3 tops, 2 bottoms, 2 dresses, and 2 layers + my one pair of shoes! The reason I picked my Mustard Gabby Flats is because, I love wearing them. Yellow has always been at the top of my favorite colors list, ever since I was little and these mustard flats effortlessly go with 99% of the things in my closet. (I would say 100% but I own more yellow and just don’t ever mix the two together.)
I always get compliments on them, and then I get to tell people about the artisans from Guatemala who made my shoes, who have good paying jobs because of my shoes, who can afford to send their kids to school because of my shoes.

Get yourself a pair of these gabby flats in Mustard!

Full disclosure: my husband bought these for me on super discount, a few years ago. I understand that ethical fashion can be expensive, but these shoes have paid for themselves 10x over and in the future I am willing to buy them at full price.
