Finished Reading | Winning Her Business by Bridget Brennan

When asked about the largest growth markets, most minds answer China or India. And yet they miss the one right in front of them.

Women.

As a woman also with the title wife, I am the primary purchaser for our family. Food, home goods, clothing, and necessities. While many times my husband is involved in these conversations, primarily I do the research and decide for myself what will be best for our family.

Bridget Brennan, CEO of Female Factor and suthor of the new book Winning her Business, shares with readers the Four Motivation Framework, on how businesses can help customers feel; connected, inspired, confident, and appreciated.

In a world dominated by the rise of women’s economic power Brennan provides a map for selling to this new growth market.

As a woman, I read Brennan’s book and thought to myself, “Why don’t more brands do that?” and at the same time, “I should be doing more of that for my own customers & clients!” Her insight and experience provide readers ways to create inclusive customer experiences. After reading this, I would love to see businesses owners from all over, service and transactional read and grow from the best practices stories in this book for businesses and brands of all sizes.

She has an entire chapter on top trends driving women’s buying patterns, which as a woman, I do several of these and found it fascinating. Buying and choosing what to buy has changed dramatically thanks to the internet and our smartphones, while convenience is important so is knowing we are getting what we expect and on time. Busy women, mothers, and wives take on tasks in a whole new way now that we can schedule dog walkers from our phone while simultaneously ordering a new bag for that business trip.

Business owners, especially those interested in growing their business, should read Brennan’s new book. She provides case studies and easy takeaways, as well as ideas on how you can implement her strategies in your business. Whatever your business.

I am on the book launch team for Winning her Business and was provided a copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
