About this brand: …to empower people through the fashion industry. We work with our beneficiaries in Uganda to create fashionable, quality products. They earn an income enabling them to provide for their families. We care for them holistically through counseling, health education, finance training, and business mentorships. After five years in our program, our beneficiaries are ready to graduate. A graduated beneficiary has her own business and is educated, healthy, and confident. She is empowered.
Everything [31 Bits does] is funded through product sales. That means every time you make a 31 bits purchase, you have a direct impact on women’s lives in Uganda.(from HERE)
What I love about 31 Bits: I would never describe myself as a jewelry person, but I am really. I love to finish a look with a long necklace or a stunning bracelet. What I love about 31Bits is they are unique and different. While I typically reach for classic 16″ silver necklace, a long paper beaded necklace is the perfect piece to add umph to my wardrobe, my style and make me feel as adventurous and stylish as I want to be. Every piece is unique, and different. None of them are heavy and make you feel weighed down the way plastic statement necklaces do, instead they start a conversation and add a pop of color where, honestly, I need it.
