Spring and summer are my favorite times of the year. Not because it is warm but because of all the fruit and fresh crisp things to eat.
Smoothies are great for people who need energy, are busy and want to incorporate more healthy foods into their diet. Perfect for students preparing for finals and busy on the go professionals. Here is my go to smoothie recipe:
2 TB Honey
1/2 cup Greek Yogurt Plain or Vanilla
1 cup Coconut milk, Almond Milk or Soy
1 TB spoon of Chia or Flaxseed (protein)
Add ingredients in order and blend on high for 1 minute, add more milk or yogurt to reach your ideal consistency and enjoy!
