March 2015 Stitch Fix #5

This month I received my 5th Stitch Fix box! I have been a Stitch Fix customer since Spring 2013 and love this service so much I now WORK there! (there meaning on my computer from home) 🙂

So, here is how Stitch Fix works. First you visit the site, HERE, and create an account and fill out the style profile. If you are looking for something in particular be specific, your Stylist will appreciate it! Don’t forget to link your Fashion Pinterest board! There is a $20 styling fee then that is applied as a credit to anything you keep! Schedule your Fix and then wait impatiently until the mail man comes with your box! Each box has 5 items, all hand picked for YOU with a personalized note from your stylist on how to wear each piece and fashion advice! Try everything on and you have 3 days to decide what to keep and incorporate into your closet and wardrobe and then simply mail back the items you don’t want to keep in the pre addressed mailer. It’s that awesome!

Now, onto my box! 🙂 So, this is my 5th Fix but my first time styling myself as a Stylist!

Street Level- Anchorage Diamond Printed Tote//Kept

this bag has 3 sections, the center one is zipped and holds my 15″ Macbook pro! Hello new work bag!

Market & Spruce Cut Out Detail Blouse// Returned

When I saw this one in our inventory I thought it was much brighter than it actually is. I was looking for brighter colored items to wear in the spring and summer. It’s more blue/green earthy tone than bright blue.

Renee C Floral Crochet Top// Kept

I am in love with this piece. It is feminine and I can wear it during our ridiculously hot summers with some colored shorts! It also came with a camisole!

Kut from the Kloth Denna Skinny Jean// Kept

I have a pair of Just Black Skinny in dark Navy and can be found wearing them most of the time, so I decided I needed another pair of denim. I was looking for boyfriend/distressed but none where available, so I went with these. They are more straight leg on me than skinny and have enough length to roll them up for the summer. They also have a lighter wash than my other pair.

Creative Commune Split Neck Blouse//Returned

I love the color and edginess to this blouse but the fit just isn’t right for my body…womp womp. The high low hem is awesome as well as the hot pink piping! I am a sucker for hot pink…

  1. I did look at signing up but I’m not entirely sure it would work with international mailing. That bag is cute – I like it too. I do like the last top with the pink piping. Very cute.

  2. I used to love clothes shopping and now I kind of hate it. This might be a good option for me! I love that tote as well as that floral crochet top!

    1. Stitch Fix is great for ladies who hate shopping! Just let your stylist know what you are wanting to add to your wardrobe and your preferences! I loved it because I always got something I would have never looked at in the store.
