Rants + Ramblings

I don’t know of I should start ranting. I could rant about the exploitation of women and children stuck in modern day sex slavery. Or the over photoshoped images of women in printed media. Or the fact that the stupid World of War commercial portrays the heroine as someone who NEEDS a hero. (Honey, you are your own hero. Don’t wait around for one of those boys to step up. Do it yourself!)

Or I could ramble on the horrible excuses for food at the grocery store. We have got to get back to a farm to fork society, buy local and make your own food! Heck GROW your own food. What you put in your body is what you will get out of it. Put in fast and cheap food, then well you are what you eat. And then mention I am hitting the gym for the 1st time in 2 months tonight…

I could rant on how much Congress upsets me or how the media isn’t talking about the terrorist attack and murder of 3 muslim students from Chapel Hill, but I would like to keep all my followers even if you don’t agree with me.

  1. I’m so with you about the exploitation of women. Kate Upton is a beautiful woman and has made a name for herself in the fashion industry as a model, but she didn’t need this campaign. And she certainly doesn’t need a hero.

  2. I’m with you about the exploration of women and people being trafficked into what is modern slave labour. We’re supporting a new project at work called Hungry Months. It’s so sad that some families get to the point of considering to sell their own children into slavery because they can’t afford to look after them.
